CIMTAP Tapping Compounds
Cimtap
tapping compound is a water-soluble paste that contains conventional
and extreme pressure (EP) lubricants. Recommended for a wide
range of tapping operations, from hand tapping to high production
automatic jobs, on ferrous and nonferrous metals. Cimtap tapping
compound can be applied to tap directly, diluted with water
and applied with a squirt can, or mixed with CIMCOOL metalworking
fluids for high production, multiple operations. Available
in cases of 24 1-pint cans, 40-lb. pails, and 250-lb. drums.
Cimtap II tapping compound is designed for blind holes,
deep vertical holes and high production operations requiring
quick application. Can be used on both ferrous and nonferrous
metals. CimTap II contains extreme-pressure additives that
form a solid lubricant between chip and tool. Available in
cases of 12 reusable 1-pint squirt bottles, 5-gallon pails,
55-gallon drums, and tank trucks.

CIMGUARD Corrosion Preventives
Cimguard 10 corrosion preventive is a fingerprint neutralizer
with water-displacing properties. Its protective coating is
thin, transparent, colorless, and slightly oily. For the prevention
of corrosion from fingerprints or water. Useful for short-term
(6-12 months) indoor storage of dies, jigs, fixtures, machine
surfaces and miscellaneous tools. Gives machined or ground
parts in-process protection from corrosion. Can be used as
a spray, brushed on, or as a dip. Available in cases of 12
9-ounce aerosol cans, 5-gallon pails, 55-gallon drums, and
tank trucks.
Cimguard 20 corrosion preventive is a general-purpose
product with water displacing properties. Its protective coating
is transparent and nonstaining to copper, copper alloys and
aluminum. Cimguard 20 can be applied to wet or dry parts.
When applied with in-process spray or in a dip tank where
fluid runoff is collected for reuse, its water-displacing
qualities cause water to settle quickly to the bottom or the
reservoir. The water can be periodically drained from the
bottom. Available in 5-gallon pails, 55-gallon drums, and
tank trucks.

CENTERSAVER Waterproof Grease
Lasting lubrication that reduces wear on centers of lathes,
grinders and hobbing machines. Centersaver comes in a convenient
2-oz. tube for individual use by each machine operator on
both ferrous and nonferrous metals. Centersaver won't run
under heat or pressure and metalworking fluids won't wash
it away. Available in cartons of 24 2-oz. tubes and 40-lb.
pails.

Proportioners
Cimcool Mix Master Proportioner II mixes Cimcool metalworking
fluids with water instantly, accurately and economically.
No more trial-and-error in mixing - Mix Master Proportioner
II assures that a known dilution of water of product is added
every time that more fluid is required. Mix Master Proportioner
II mounts in either the 2" or 3/4" bung on top of
the 55-gallon Cimcool metalworking fluid concentrate drum.
Cimcool Mix Master Automatic Proportioner automatically
fills any reservoir to a predetermined, adjustable level and
maintains an accurate, adjustable ratio of water to fluid.
Like Mix Master Proportioner II, the Automatic Proportioner
will save money on labor, equipment, time, and metalworking
fluid.

CIMCOOL Refractometer
The Cimcool refractometer is a light wieght, hand held, optical
instrument for the measurement of metalworking fluid concentration.
The refractometer reading is simply multiplied by the refractometer
factor of your specific metalworking fluid to obtain a mix
concentration reading.
